Uh OH...Keys!

I was in the kitchen a few days ago when I hear...Flush Flush....uh oh! Tyler comes running into the living room saying "uh oh keys". Next thing I know he is pointing toward the bathroom saying, "mommy keys". I started looking for my keys and found them hanging on the key hook. Then, I started looking for dave's keys, which were no where to be found. I asked Dave where he had put his keys and he explained that they were on the table. Well, they were not there anymore! I had a hunch that Tyler flushed them down the toilet and I was right. We had a plumber come and they had to remove the toilet and use a special tool to fish them out.
We then soaked them in bleach and boiling water at least two times. He was lucky that they did not go all the way down the drain, because Dave has a lot of keys on his ring. It would have been hard to replace them. After this incident we put a lock on the toilet so Tyler will stay out.

Staying on theme with the toilet, we started a new adventure this week. Tyler showed some interest in potty training so we tried using the potty a few times and he likes to try. We are not trying real hard, but we are letting him get used to the idea. He has pee'd in the potty at least 10 times in the last few days.

Grandpa and Grandma Knight came to visit this Thursday. They are here for a long weekend. They have been having a good time with Tyler. He has been wanting to go on a bus for the last week, so they took him on his first bus ride. They have done it twice since then because he loved it so much. They are helping wear him out, since I am so worn out it is nice to have someone else keep up with him for a few days. They have also been helping with other things around the house too, which I appreciate. Grandpa made "Playdough" animals with Ty and Grandma spent time telling Tyler stories about the bus.

We went to a train yard at Griffith Park to ride a mini train.
