Summer is just picking up and the Heat is on

Summer hits hardest in August and September around here. It has been in the hundreds this week. We took a nice short trip to a new place this week, Santa Fe Dam. Who would have known this was even here. It is like a little oasis near the 605 and 210 freeways (15 minutes away). It is a lake and water area. Too bad it closes today for the season and doesn't open back up until next summer:( Oh well, we enjoyed it for a day and will go back next summer. Tyler and Clay had fun running in and out of the water. Since there were no waves they had a hayday.

One night tyler was a ham for the camera. He wanted his picture taken with mommy and daddy and by himself in his surfboard bathrobe. We had fun with it. I thought he look adorable, so I couldn't help but keep shooting.

Clays mommy and daddy had a blessing ceremony for him at their house this weekend. We got to be apart of it. It was so special. They wrote him special letters and so did his grandparents. Paul Kim (Ty's Godfather) performed the ceremony and blessed Clay also. We celebrated afterwards with food and cake...yum! Then, we swam in Clay's baby pool.
