Ty Turns Two

Tyler turns two today! We had a little birthday dinner for him last night. His friends Elizabeth and Ethan(DeeDee) flew in for the weekend. We have been having a nice time hanging out with them. The party was complete with a bus cake, by request from Ty. He got a few presents from Grandparents and Great Grandparents. One of which was a plasma car. It is kind of like a pedal less bike.

Well...more later, but here are a few pictures:)

Great Grandma and Grandpa Olson sent me this sweater...Noah's ark.

Ty the Tiger on the prowl

This weekend was full of festivities. Tyler was a tiger this year, which inspired Dave and I to be part of the jungle adventure as well. We dressed up as Tarzan and Jane. I found part of our costumes at the local thrift store and then adapted them. Dave's was made from two pillow cases and mine was a formal dress that I cute apart:) It was fun. I felt like a costume designer for a short period of time. I guess I can add that of my list of credentials as a mom: costume designer, florist, Chef, taxi driver, full time shopper, executive assistant, housekeeper, organizer, baker, cake decorator, photographer and activities coordinator are just a few of the hats I get to wear:)
Our Halloween weekend Map:
Our first stop: Sierra Madre for trick or treating on Friday night. Business gave out candy and then they had a costume parade and contest. We meet up with Our friends Kristy and Clay, Debbie, Jonathan and Katelynn. We also saw Bryan Childs and his parents who are in town from Illinios...Bill and Carol.
Second stop: Saturday ultimate frisbee and then off to a party at the Way's house. It felt like fall which was nice. I cold in my costume which was designed for So Cal weather. Tyler spent most of the evening on the trampoline. He slept well after that:)

Third stop: Church and then on to Old Town Pasadena for some more trick or treating. Tyler had his first piece of candy...1/4 of a blow-pop sucker.

Fourth stop: Matt and Kristy's house for dinner. They made a fabulous italian spaghetti.
Last stop: Paz Naz Church for a Harvest festival. They had bounce houses and giant slides, along with games and food. We stayed for 45 minutes and then off to bed.
