February Photo Highlights

Valentines Day Cuties!

Tyler was the ring bearer at a wedding for Dawn and Kevin Ivers from our church. He was dressed as Marco from the movie, Howl's Magic Castle (we have never seen it). Kevin is involved in the movie industry, so it was a very creative wedding. They had storm troopers at their reception and a light saber salute at the end of the wedding. Ty did very well walking down the isle despite having an ear infection.

Met Ben from the show The Bachelor at a birthday party.

Tyler was a Jedi in training at a Star Wars birthday party.

Angela and I have been spending a lot of one on one time at the park while Ty is in school.

Daddy reading Tyler one of his favorite Berenstien Bears books, God Loves You.

Making Valentines with Jace and Sander
Ty's class had a playdate at the police station in San Marino.

God Bless Grandparents!!

One of the benefits of having parents that live so far away is that when they come to visit we get to spend a significant amount of time with them. That makes it really special. We do not enjoy the fact that they live far from us, but we make the most of every-time that we have with them. Grandpa and Grandma Knight came to visit at the end of January.Grandpa and Grandma Olson came in Mid February.
Highlights from their visits:
Knight's
John and Carol watched the kids so Dave and I could go on a much needed getaway to the Ojai Valley. It was a great time of rest for us both! We celebrated our 9 year Anniversary...only a few months behind. They took the kids to the mall, on the carrousel and indoor playground, in the convertible,  school, Starbucks, and more. Thanks Grandpa and Grandma for helping out with the kids!!
Olson's
Jim and Mary Lee came out on Valentine's day which this year was celebrate with days in bed for Dave. He was sick with a virus. He wanted to get caught up on work and rest, so they took mommy and the kids to the Grand Californian Disney resort for the night. We played on the waterslide, walk through downtown Disney and ate with Chip and Dale. Tyler and Angela spent their first night in bunk beds. We also went by our favorite surf shop, Huntington Surf and Sport on our way to the beach. They went on a skateboard and scooter ride to the park. Thanks for a fun and enjoyable weekend Mom and Dad!!
