Holiday Cheer

This year we stayed home for the Thanksgiving holiday. We were not sure what treatment would be underway for Dave, so we thought it be best to stick around. It was a very relaxing and fun weekend with old friends. We are gearing up for Christmas in the Midwest. We can't wait to see all of our immediate family members. We are hoping for a white Christmas, since we haven't seen one in a while.
Thanksgiving weekend was spent with the Orzewalla clan from Arizona. They are good friends of ours that moved a little less than two years ago to Tucson, AZ. They rolled in Wednesday night and this kids picked up where they left off. While they were here we had a feast on Thanksgiving with the Childs family, saw the space shuttle Endeavor, went to Korean BBQ, and rode a lot of bikes. It was nice to catch up and do some fun things together! Side note, don't go see the Endeavor on a USC game day it's craziness!
While they were here Dave and I bought our first car together. Matt and Kristy took the kids to a friends house one morning and we went car shopping. We found a new used van at the Honda dealership in Pasadena. Our other van was great, but was having some issues smelling like gas and oil. Nobody could figure out what was wrong with it. So there you have it...we bought a Honda Odyssey 2010 with 33,000 miles on it. Should last us a long time.
I have been trying to take photos of the two kids together for a long time and have been unsuccessful. I finally got the two of them to sit down together for one photo(see below). It's not portrait quality but these two can't make a photo look bad right:) We are getting ready for family picture this saturday, which I pray goes well. As of right now the outlook is not great. It is supposed to rain, Tyler has pink eye, Angela has a runny nose, and I have not been feeling great either. I just hope we can get one photo of the four of us where everyone is looking at the camera and smiling! I know, it's a lot to ask, but that is the hope of this clickin momma(aka:mom who takes photos)!
